Two breads tie for the most declared wholegrain on Australian shelves at 88% wholegrain: Nana Premium Lebanese Bread Wholemeal 500g and Nana Premium Pita Bread Wholemeal 5 pack, all verified against their pack labels.
“Wholemeal” and “wholegrain” claims span a huge range: a loaf can front the word with anywhere from a fifth to nearly all of its flour actually wholegrain. Ranked by each pack’s own printed declaration.
